Overview
Living with dementia calls for a setting that offers a unique combination of innovative programs, dedicated staff and a soothing environment. That’s what we set out to create when we designed Moneta Springs in Twin Lakes Community. A true home for residents with dementia, Moneta Springs allows them to experience life in an engaged, active, secure way. Each part of the day is carefully thought out to make sure that everyone is taken care of and respected for who they are. Specialized therapies which integrate innovative concepts including the use of pets, plants, and music therapy engage and enrich the residents’ lives, providing a high quality of life and a high quality of care. The state-of-the-art facility is specially designed with front porches overlooking a vibrant Town Center. This expansive, sun-drenched atrium area includes a chapel, cinema, and soda shop designed to trigger past memories and encourage participation in a variety of activities. Residents and families can enjoy the outdoors from screened porches and secure garden areas.

Adult Day Care Program in Burlington
Located in Moneta Springs Memory Care residence, The Harbor at Twin Lakes Community is a state-certified specialized Adult Day Care program serving up to 12 participants living with dementia. The Harbor Adult Day Program provides a safe and comfortable environment in which your loved one can enjoy a fun, rewarding, and meaningful day while affording the caregiver respite from caregiving duties. Committed to caring for the whole person, dedicated staff members give each participant individualized attention and engage him/her in stimulating activities throughout the day. Because we understand the challenges a full-time caregiver faces on a daily basis, our program also addresses needs and concerns of caregivers through respite time, monthly support group, and educational opportunities.
The Harbor serves Twin Lakes residents and other residents living in Alamance, Caswell, Guilford, and Orange counties. For further information please call 336-585-2393.
