The Evelyn Apple/Stacy Wood Scholarship Program is an outreach of the Twin Lakes Auxiliary, a resident operated non-profit organization within Twin Lakes Community committed to improving the life of its residents and employees. The scholarship program provides grants to staff members’ children and dependent grandchildren attending post-secondary educational institutions. According to Homer Ashby, chair of the scholarship committee, there have been 289 scholarships gifted, totaling $418,900 since its inception. During this year’s ceremony, 11 applicants were awarded a grant of $2,200 each.
